Why serve?

When our lives are transformed by the Gospel, we have a responsibility to love and serve one another as Christ has loved us, and to help others come to a saving knowledge of Him. When we fully understand what we have received, we feel compelled to serve others, but not to earn God’s favor. We serve simply because we have been greatly served by Him and we want others to experience the saving grace of our Lord. To be made into the image of Christ, who gave us the greatest example of a servant, is the root of what it means to be a Christ-follower. This is a service meant to be carried out personally in each of our lives - it is this personal call to serve one another that is the backbone of the Every1 Serve1 campaign. To foster transformational relationship with Christ through intentional service towards one another, in and outside the church.
